Thorn and Anvil Studios exists to create work that treats memory, faith, longing, history, and the human condition with seriousness. Its purpose is not simply to produce stories, poems, or imagined worlds, but to make something lasting from the questions that follow us through life. Each project begins with a conviction that art should leave a mark. It should offer beauty, discomfort, reflection, and, where possible, hope.

The studio is committed to craftsmanship. Every work should be shaped with patience, discipline, and respect for language. Tradition matters here, not as a limitation, but as a foundation. Older forms, enduring symbols, historical memory, and inherited wisdom are allowed to speak alongside modern fears and future possibilities.
